When I was 12 Stand By Me came out.   I always thought the characters were a wonderfully composed allegory for Freud’s 3 parts of the human psyche with Gordy as the body they were contained in.  Yes I thought about shit like this when I was 12. Since Wil has become internetfabulous and back into our collective psyches, I think it’s time we officially assign him his rightful place in the Freudian model.
